Project focused on implementing Industry 4.0 technologies in real manufacturing environments, developing demonstrators incorporating IoT, Virtual Reality, Digital Twins, Additive Manufacturing, and RFID.

My Role

As a developer, I participated in implementing multiple technological demonstrators integrating various Industry 4.0 technologies.

Implemented Technologies

Simulation and Digital Twins

  • Industrial process simulation: Virtual visualization and analysis of robotic cell operations
  • Virtual Reality: Generation of Digital Twins to replicate real operations virtually
  • Optimization: Identification of improvements and optimization of operational parameters

Internet of Things (IoT)

  • Real-time monitoring: Data collection on control and status of industrial processes
  • Quality control: Automatic analysis of defects in produced parts
  • Decision making: Pattern and anomaly analysis for performance improvements

Additive Manufacturing

  • Advanced molds: Mold manufacturing through 3D printing
  • Conformal Cooling: Advanced cooling techniques to optimize injection cycles
  • Quality improvement: Reduction of deformations and uniform cooling

RFID and Traceability

  • Material location: Traceability of recyclable material using RFID technology
  • Waste management: Optimization of material management and location
  • Sustainability: Promotion of circular economy from the manufacturing process
